Fàilte - Welcome to the Isle of Mull Experience...

.....a great way to experience Mull....

...and your opportunity to enjoy all that this beautiful island has to offer in the company of your own personal guide. With its 300 miles of stunning coast line, wild countryside, high hills and some of the best wildlife watching experiences, Mull has almost too much to offer.

Pick of the best...

With so many possibilities why not let someone else do the work leaving you to relax knowing you are making the most of your stay here. Michael is a registered tour guide, an enthusiastic bird watcher, a qualified teacher and with a long career of introducing people to the outdoors, he has the knowledge and experience to help you do just that.

In comfort...

Mull is the largest of the Argyll islands and with its narrow single-track roads it takes a lot of exploring. Join one of the scheduled tours or commission a bespoke tour and travel in comfort in our Mercedes 8-seater, chosen specifically for the purpose. Let us take you to the most likely spots to look for eagles or otters without the worry of coping with the driving whilst trying to enjoy the watching. Come on a day tour and we will provide you with home prepared refreshments and packed lunch.

More adventurous?...

For those who would like to get more under the skin of this unique island why not explore on foot. Michael trained as an outdoor pursuits specialist and gained qualifications in a variety of activities including mountain leadership. Before ‘retiring’ from his career he was director of an outdoor pursuits centre. He is one of only two on the island that has gained accreditation from the Scottish Tour Guides Association. Particularly suited to those travelling as part of a group, why not enquire about getting off the beaten track and exploring those parts of the island that most don't get to see.

Organised Groups...

Have you organised a tour by coach or cruise ship?  Or perhaps you are travelling as a small group, then perhaps we can be of help.  Michael has accreditation from the Scottish Tourist Guides Association for guiding in the Argyll Islands and is available for booking by groups and organisations to provide guiding services.  Contact Michael direct to discuss your specific requirements whether it is to accompany your clients on your own coach or to provide more specialist interest tours in his own vehicle.

Private Hire...

Our vehicle is licensed and Insured for Private Hire.  If you have somewhere to go whether short or long distance then we may be able to help.  We regularly do pick-ups from ferry terminals and if travelling further a field or just want to explore a little more widely then give us a call, if we can help we will.

Looking for somewhere to stay?...

Not decided where to stay yet?  Why not stay with us?  Our home, 'Caol-Ithe', is accredited by Visit Scotland.  Here you will find comfortable accommodation on the edge of Fionnphort village with views across the sound to Iona and just a few minutes walk to village amenities and the boats to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles.  If you prefer to be a little more self sufficient we also have two self catering cottages alongside, which make an ideal base from which to explore the area for those staying longer.

Why not give us a call and discuss what we can do for you for an inclusive stay with accommodation and the opportunity to join Michael on some days out.  Or you could just stay and benefit from our extensive knowledge of what to do and see.
